Project Details
Window City was called on by Blair House Apartments to do a total window replacement of more than 600 windows. Located just 30 miles west of New York City in the heart of historic Morristown, New Jersey, Blair House Apartments have been restored with new commercial exterior, extruded historical brick mold windows. Interior comfort levels have been restored with the energy-efficient windows as well as the building’s exterior curb appeal for potential new tenants. Our Jersey crew completed the project on time and within the construction schedule timeline.
So what exactly is brick mold? A brick mold is the term used to explain the molding used around a door or window, between the wall and the door or window. The mold fills the gap between where the door or window and wall of the house meet. This molding is used to close any gaps between walls and your window or door. The brick mold windows installed at Blair House Apartments will serve to maintain interior comfort within each apartment as well as to decrease spending on monthly electric bills.
