Project Details
Window City was on-site at the former First National State Bank Building in Newark, New Jersey to complete the hotel window replacement at what is now known as Indigo Hotel.
The twelve story building, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, is underwent a major renovation as it transformed into Hotel Indigo. Window City is replacing more than 300 single hung windows at this historic building in downtown Newark. The new windows include both heavy commercial aluminum windows supplied by Champion along with wood windows supplied by Pella. The hotel is slated to qualify for LEED Platinum certification and will be the first hotel rehabilitation project to earn this significant designation.
Window City is turn-keying the project for the owner/developer, providing one point of contact for all the window related needs.
